I believe that we are all capable of transformative change, individually and collectively, and that this process begins with political education, grounded in history and personal experience. Through my work with Interrupting Criminalization, I offer popular education style workshops for organizations, newsrooms and journalism groups. My training work combines my experience as a facilitator in social justice organizations, a community media teacher, and a writer and editor, and I’m excited about the intersection between popular education and media production.
